Cy-Fair picks up a Win on the Road.

The Retrograde

To start of the game was a seesaw battle as both teams kept exchanging the lead. Both the Falcons and the Bobcats were trying to find their footing in the game. Both played their entire roster in the first quarter of action. Both squads were changing up their defensive looks also. The Bobcats ended the quarter with a 1-point lead heading into the second quarter. The Falcons have been dominant on the offensive glass here early on in the second quarter. They also continue with their 5-in, 5-out substitution every 2-3 minutes of the game. The game had a good flow to it with not a lot of fouls called. Well, I guess I spoke too soon because as Cy-Fair started to break down the press of the Falcons and beat them in their zone defense the fouls started to pick up. The Bobcats were able to stretch out the lead on the foul line as they headed into the half up by 8 points, 39-31. Tompkins came out and scored the first 5 points of the quarter to cut the lead down to 3. The Bobcats kept their poise and continued to play their game of working the ball around to get the best shot possible. With all the miss-fired trey balls the Falcons were still able to clean house on the offensive glass, however when the Bobcats got the rebound they were off to the races out in transition to get easy buckets. The Bobcats pushed the lead to 17 to close out the third quarter. The fourth quarter was let’s trade three-pointers to start, but the Bobcats were able to fend off the Falcons on their home court to come away as the victors in this game.
